Call for Presentations

THANK YOU to everyone who has submitted a proposal for the 2008 Career and Technical Education Summer Program. The program committee will begin the process of reviewing the proposals. Notices will be sent once the process is completed.

Deadline for submittal:  February 1, 2008 -- Only presentations submitted by the deadline date will be peer reviewed by the 2008 Summer Program Planning Committee and be eligible for acceptance.

The 2008 Career and Technical Education Statewide Summer Program encourages Call for Presentation submittals from Career and Technical Education professionals in the field who will share their ideas, innovations and practices with their colleagues. The theme is CTE Focus on Students and CFPs will be accepted based on the topics:

*  Learning -- the academic and technical aspects of teaching to improve students' learning,

*  Earning -- the application of soft-skills and business and industry requirements to enhance students' eventual earnings, and

*  Serving -- the involvement in Career and Technical Student Organizations and community outreach to guide students' service to their communities.
